Track Resurfacing: Update

With less than two weeks to go until the first TF weekend of the year everyone including the track themselves are putting the finishing touches to their winter projects.

This year the track is resurfacing the Döttinger Höhe , Antoniusbuche, Tiergarten and Hohenrain Schikane.

For regular TF drivers there will be a few well known bumps that will be a lot smoother now around Tiergarten / Hohenrain area of the track and it will be interesting to see how that affects peoples approached to these areas.

The links between the GP Circuit and the Nordschleife are also getting a nice fresh coat of the black stuff as well, hopefully we get a few opportunities this year in TF to do the full VLN version of the track when you get to use both circuits in a linked up format for the ultimate Nürburgring / Nordschleife experience!

Aside from the surfacing there is always some ongoing safety work as well with 300 metres of new FIA safety fences being install between the sections Kallenhard & Wehrsoaps.

Cant wait to get out there on March the 12th and get the wheels rolling on this new surface!
